Bob Greenlee is responsible for multi-jurisdictional campaigns at Tusk Strategies and Tusk Ventures. For the past five years, Bob has provided strategic advisory services and run campaigns for Tusk Strategies’ clients across a spectrum of regulatory needs, including engagements in the energy, technology, education, pharma, gaming, and policy/political reform sectors. He has led campaigns for large corporate clients like LVMH, Tesla, and Laureate Education; startups like General Assembly, Kickback, and Booster Fuels; and not-for-profits like Girls Who Code, Lucas Museum for Narrative Art, the Rockefeller Foundation, and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
Bob has served as Deputy Governor, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Office of the Governor, and Deputy Director of the Illinois Office of Management and Budget for the State of Illinois. An attorney by training, Bob has previously served as counsel at the Quinlan Law Firm LLC and at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on private equity, securities and public company M&A transactions. He currently serves as the corporate secretary of Energy Foundry, an impact not-for-profit venture fund investing in the smart grid and renewables sector, and he has previously served as a senior advisor to the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition, Illinois’s premier technology-based economic development organization. He holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.A. and J.D. from the University of Chicago, where he is also a PhD candidate.
