Bob Greenlee provides strategic advisory, legal, public advocacy, and financial services to Tusk Strategies’ gaming, technology, education, and policy/political reform clients, including Camelot Global, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and ISTC.
Prior to Tusk Strategies, Bob served as Senior Advisor to the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition, the State of Illinois’ center for technology-based economic development serving both State and local industry and university clients. Bob has also provided counsel to the Smart Grid Cluster, the Institute for Sustainable Energy Development, and Energy Foundry, an impact venture fund investing in the smart grid sector. Bob has served as Deputy Governor, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Office of the Governor, and Deputy Director of the Illinois Office of Management and Budget for the State of Illinois. An attorney by training, Bob has previously served as counsel at the Quinlan Law Firm LLC and at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on private equity, securities and public company M&A transactions. He holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.A. and J.D. from the University of Chicago, where he is also a Ph.D. candidate. Bob leads our team in the Chicago office.
