Alex heads Digital Strategy at Tusk Strategies and works at the intersection of creative storytelling, digital communications and advocacy. With 14+ years of experience leading the strategy, implementation and management of digital and traditional campaigns for equity-centered impact, Alex understands the power of story and narrative within digital movement-making.

Prior to Tusk, Alex led strategy work at the social impact creative agency, Purpose – developing and implementing global and national campaign frameworks for a wide range of corporate to non-profit clients. He also co-led Purpose’s Racial Equity Impact Practice, focused on mending gaps across industries through strategy and equipping partners, from both legacy and frontline experiences, with the tools necessary to impact change in their respective arenas. He has designed narratives, initiatives and campaigns for a variety of groups, including the Office of the President of the Philippines, National Geographic Society, Vaseline, Color of Change, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Everytown for Gun Safety and the International Labor Rights Forum.

Alex has an M.A. in International Human Rights from the Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and a B.A. in Political Science from Georgia College.
