Ed is a Graduate Associate at Tusk Strategies, providing policy, communications, and research support for corporations and startups across many industries such as media and QSRs.
Ed is currently finishing up his MBA at Columbia Business School in New York, where he completed a summer internship as a Senior Associate at Strategy&, the strategy consulting unit of PricewaterhouseCooprs (PwC). While in school he is focused on strategy, social entrepreneurship, and general management.
Prior to business school, Ed worked for the federal government in Washington, D.C., where he spent five years working in policy and communications on Capitol Hill and two years at the White House. He served as a spokesman for US Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut and as a policy assistant for US Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan at the Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Committee. Prior to that, he was a Political Appointee in the Obama Administration as a Senior Analyst and Project Manager for the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence. During the 2020 election cycle, Ed took a leave of absence from the Hill to volunteer as a Press Secretary for the Biden for President-Ohio team.
Ed is a native of Detroit, Michigan, and received his BA from Eastern Michigan University, where he majored in Political Science.
