Gaby Guilmart is a Senior Vice President at Tusk Strategies, bringing over a decade of experience in legislative and political campaigns, philanthropy, organizing, and advocacy. With her deep expertise in public policy and government relations, Gaby has successfully led high-impact (and winning) campaigns.

Prior to joining Tusk, Gaby served as Deputy Political Director at the New York Hotel and Gaming Trades Council, where she spearheaded major political and policy initiatives across New York. She was instrumental in advancing critical legislation for the hospitality sector including expediting downstate casino licensing.

Gaby’s extensive campaign experience includes managing key races such as Eric Gonzalez for Brooklyn District Attorney, Austin Shafran for City Council, and independent expenditures for congressional candidates Laura Gillen (NY-04) and Tom Suozzi (NY-03). Her career began with the Working Families Party, where she directed field operations for numerous successful candidates in New York.

In addition to her political work, Gaby is an accomplished fundraiser, having raised millions of dollars from institutional donors for organizations such as the Center for Popular Democracy. Her deep network of connections with elected officials, community leaders, and labor organizations enables her to build powerful coalitions and advocate for policies that benefit diverse communities across New York.

Gaby received her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College in Government.
