Executive Vice President


Kristina M. Howard is an Executive Vice President with a proven track record of success advising companies in highly regulated industries on overcoming regulatory and political barriers. She has developed and executed campaigns responsible for growing a digital pharmacy start-up from five to 40+ markets in one year, securing millions of dollars in government funding for a supply chain start-up to conduct mass Covid-19 testing and vaccinations, and building an NFT coalition to advocate for responsible regulations.

Kristina brings 15+ years of experience working at the intersection of law, policy, and politics at two global law firms, the National Federation of Independent Business, the American Enterprise Institute, and the Massachusetts Legislature. She has managed issue and advocacy campaigns at the federal level and in all 50 states. Her policy expertise is broad-based spanning privacy, healthcare, e-commerce, and gig-economy.  Kristina also draws upon her niche knowledge of having worked with State Attorneys General in their role as regulators, policymakers, and politicians.  Kristina leverages her national network of contacts to advance Tusk clients’ goals including state legislators, regulators, lobbyists, and other key influencers.

Kristina earned a B.S. Degree in Political Science from Northeastern University, where she graduated first in her class and a M.S. Degree in Political Science from American University, where she graduated with the highest honors. She is based in Washington, D.C.
