Abby leads the firm’s work with The Rockefeller Foundation to plan and produce CityXChange, a convening of mayors from around the world with leading start-up tech founders and venture capital investors, and focused on identifying opportunities for cross-sector collaboration to solve major urban challenges.
Previously, she was a Senior Vice President at Civic Entertainment Group/Seacrest Global in New York where she designed and managed pro-social initiatives, public-private partnerships, and major events for a number of media and entertainment clients. She led the strategic development and execution for NBC News Education Nation, a multi-year initiative that called attention to challenges and successes in the nation’s education system and included an annual national thought-leader Summit and multi-market affiliate tour featuring public activations, influencer events and on-air/online programming. Before that, she spent more than 10 years working in Illinois state politics and government, where she held the top communications post in the Governor’s Office as well as senior roles in the House Speaker’s Office and the State Democratic Party.
Abby earned her B.A. in Political Science from Calvin College. She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
