Izzy Baird

Izzy recently joined Tusk Strategies, where she executes communications campaigns on behalf of clients.

Before joining Tusk, Izzy worked in policy communications at the Food Tank, a think tank dedicated to sustainable agriculture and food policy, where she synthesized scientific research to craft digestible, informative content for a general audience. She has also worked in environmental policy, conducting field research as part of a longitudinal grasslands conservation study at Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture and analyzing environmental and agricultural legislation for the Office of Congressman James McGovern.

Outside of work, Izzy is a competitive debater, a hobby which initially sparked her passion for persuasive communication and cemented her competitive drive.

Izzy graduated summa cum laude and phi beta kappa from Mount Holyoke College with a B.A. in Biology and History.
