Jake advises on public affairs campaigns for Tusk, with a focus on political and communications strategy. He joined our team with over eight years of experience in New York media, government and politics.
Most recently, Jake served as Communications Director and Policy Advisor for NYC Councilman Mark Levine where he ran the office’s press strategy, in addition to working on a wide range of transportation, housing, healthcare and urban policy issues. He also executed a national media campaign highlighting the City’s first-in-the-nation “Right to Counsel” law, which guarantees legal representation for tenants fighting eviction in housing court. Prior to City Hall, Jake worked in the NYS Assembly, the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs & Worker Protection, and advised the campaigns of several candidates for federal, state and local office.
Jake received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Fordham University’s College at Rose Hill and is based out of the New York office.
