Kristina Howard provides strategic, legislative, and regulatory advice while managing multi-jurisdictional campaigns on behalf of Tusk clients. She thrives on helping disruptive technology companies fight back against entrenched industries seeking to maintain their competitive advantage by undermining innovation.
Kristina brings 15 years of experience working at the intersection of law, policy, and politics at two global law firms, the National Federation of Independent Business, the American Enterprise Institute, and the Massachusetts Legislature. She has managed issue and advocacy campaigns at the federal level and in all 50 states. Her policy expertise is broad-based spanning privacy, healthcare, e-commerce, and gig-economy. Kristina also draws upon her niche knowledge of having working with State Attorneys General in their role as regulator, policymaker, and politician. Kristina leverages her national network of contacts to advance Tusk clients’ goals including state legislators, regulators, lobbyists, and other key influencers.
Kristina earned a B.S. Degree in Political Science from Northeastern University, where she graduated first in her class and a M.S. Degree in Political Science from American University, where she graduated with the highest honors. She is based out of our Chicago office.
