Matthew focuses on the research aspects of several projects, primarily our national campaigns, with the Tusk Strategies team. Matt conducts much of our opposition research practice, which is a nice way of saying finding stuff out about the other side. He spends most of his time digging through public records to find what people don’t want to be found. Prior to joining Tusk Strategies in 2015, Matthew served as a Legislative Intern in Senator Charles Schumer’s office in Washington, D.C., where he assisted with constituent communications and policy research. Matthew previously interned at The Legal Aid Society in its Housing Help Program in Bronx, NY, assisting the attorneys with Housing Court proceedings. Matthew graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2015, where he earned an A.B. in American Culture Studies with a minor in Economics. Matthew is based out of our Chicago office.
