Simone is a Vice President in Tusk’s New York City Office where he specializes in running complex issue campaigns, crisis communications, media relations, and stakeholder brand elevation. He has run multi-million dollar campaigns, directed strategy, built coalitions and served as primary on the record spokesman across numerous government offices and political races including for president, two governors, Congress, and New York City Council.
Before joining Tusk, Simone spent four years with Congressman Dan Goldman as senior advisor, campaign manager, and communications director through two high profile primaries and across two administrations, including the House impeachment investigation in the Committee on Oversight and Accountability targeting the sitting Democratic president. In those roles he helped secure the largest federal infrastructure grant in New York City Economic Development Corporation history, led economic revitalization efforts on the Brooklyn waterfront, and coordinated internal operations and strategy across policy, communications, and stakeholder engagement teams.
Simone has a B.A. in Politics from New York University, where he was a Global Leadership Scholar and a member of the men’s varsity soccer program.
