Rutik Shinglot (he goes by Teek in the office) is an Associate in the Tusk LA office helping with communications strategies and public affairs.

Prior to joining Tusk, Rutik worked as a legislative intern for California State Senator Robert Hertzberg where he focused on higher education and climate change policy, conducting research and writing legislative language for the Senator.

Rutik recently graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Public Affairs where he was involved in the student government, regularly traveling to Sacramento to speak to legislators about student issues like increasing financial aid and improving graduation rates across the state. He was also the General Manager of UCLA Radio, the largest student run radio station in the West Coast, directing the creation of engaging media for the digital generation while also the host of a popular news show.”
