Alexandra is a Vice President at Tusk Strategies out of the New York practice. She was previously Press Secretary to Secretary Pete Buttigieg at the US Department of Transportation where she handled the Secretary’s media strategy — including proactive policy communications, as well as responses to major crises, such as the collapse of the Baltimore Bridge. While traveling alongside Secretary Buttigieg to 30+ states, Alexandra helped the Secretary and Department tell the story of critical infrastructure investments across America. Prior to joining Secretary Buttigieg’s team, Alexandra was Press Secretary to Congressman Josh Gottheimer and worked on multiple campaigns in Florida and Massachusetts.

Most recently, Alexandra was Deputy Director of Message Events on the Harris-Walz campaign where she handled communications around Vice President Harris’s high profile campaign events and rallies.

Originally from Miami, FL, Alexandra graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Government from Harvard University. She is based in Washington DC.
