James Bacon is the Head of Technology & Systems for Tusk Holdings, where he directs the company’s core technology infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, systems integrations, and vendor ecosystem across its entity portfolio. Reporting to Meaghan Collins, James focuses on establishing technology governance frameworks, bringing financial visibility to IT spend, and optimizing system reliability across all operational functions.
Prior to joining Tusk, James spent over a decade managing IT operations and enterprise systems architecture for fast-growing national brand portfolios and corporate environments. He served as the Senior IT Operations Manager at Broadway Licensing Global and Senior Manager of IT & Systems at Convive Brands, where he oversaw infrastructure, compliance standards, and various tech deployments across more than 60 locations nationwide. His career also includes senior technology roles at Aurify Brands, Patina Restaurant Group, and worked most recently as a Systems Administrator at ICR, where he delivered on initiatives in network engineering, identity and access management, data security, and service management optimization. Earlier in his career, James worked in equity research at Casimir Capital.
James holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College. He is a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Network Engineer and holds a robust suite of CompTIA credentials spanning from Cybersecurity, to IT Operations, to Server Administration, as well as Network Engineering.
