As VP of Creative Design, Ricky brings over a decade of experience in brand identity and web design. At Tusk Strategies, he leads high-impact creative projects, from scalable brand systems and campaign visuals to responsive websites and landing pages. Over the past five years, he has completed more than 1,300 design projects for 130+ clients, delivering work that is both strategic and visually compelling.
In 2022, Ricky led the full rebrand of Tusk Strategies, refreshing the company’s visual identity to better reflect its growth and influence. He redesigned the logo and typography, developed a modern and flexible design system, and crafted a brand that is bold yet sophisticated. The new identity was rolled out across digital platforms, pitch decks, and internal assets, unifying the firm’s presence and elevating its reputation with clients, partners, and media.
Before joining Tusk, Ricky was Senior Designer at Audacy in New York, where he helped shape brand identities and design systems for more than 200 radio stations and played a key role in refreshing the company’s podcast platform. Earlier in his career, he served as a Digital Producer at Cumulus Media, designing web content, marketing materials, and event branding for stations and shows across the country. He began his career at Greater Than One, optimizing pharmaceutical websites through SEO strategy and metadata enhancements.
Ricky holds a B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Professional Writing from Virginia Tech. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner Daniela, and the two enjoy running together in Prospect Park and training for their next race.
