Tusk’s Top 10 of 2022

As 2022 closes, we wanted to thank our clients and our entire staff for such an extraordinary year. So to follow the proper EOY recap form, we are sharing Tusk's Top 10 of 2022 (in no particular order).

Tusk grew 20% this year thanks to the amazing success by our entire team, and leadership by CEO Chris Coffey, which fueled our ability to expand and better serve our clients.

Tusk rebranded and launched a new website! Our logo was designed in-house by Ricky Soto and we enjoyed working with Teal to build the site.

13 new team members joined, adding much needed support for our campaigns.

10 staffers got promoted thanks to their ability to punch above their weight.

Jackie Zupsic established an LA office to better serve our growing roster of the West Coast companies and organizations we serve.

Partner Eric Soufer launched a Crypto + FinTech practice, securing essential regulatory approvals for clients and providing much-needed guidance during a critical year for the industry. Tusk also brought on Matt Homer as a Senior Advisor to provide additional NY DFS support.

Cristóbal Alex joined from the White House to build our federal practice and open our DC office. You can find him on MSNBC as a political analyst and holding court at Dauphine’s.

Shontell Smith joined from serving as Chief of Staff to the NY Democratic Senate Majority to be our co-Head of the NY Practice. You can find her at Future or Usher concerts.

We loved getting creative with our clients for good causes, including filling potholes in DC to get attention for protecting endangered wolves and leading a caravan of school buses sent to Sen. Ted Cruz’s house to push for gun reform.

We cheered on past and current clients, including pymetrics and Apex Crypto after they were successfully acquired and continue to be market leaders in their industries.

And one last bonus… “Tusk loves babies,” according to Chris, and we’ve been so happy for our team members who had new additions to their families in 2022 or ones on the way next year.
