Charles brings over a decade of experience in both politics and business as a congressional staffer, entrepreneur, and consultant.

Prior to joining Tusk, Charles founded and ran his own consumer food and beverage company that has scaled nationally to sell in all 50 states and internationally. He’s also consulted extensively across a wide range of topics spanning artificial intelligence, health care, and energy.

Earlier in his career, Charles served as legislative aide for Senator Patrick Leahy on the staff of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee where he focused on immigration, gun violence prevention, energy, the environment, and international water security.

Charles holds a double major in economics and political science, with a minor in international relations, from Elon University. He also earned an MBA from the Sustainable Innovation MBA Program at the University of Vermont. Charles is a native of Burlington, Vermont.
