Eric leads the firm’s advanced tech and crisis management practices. Eric joined Tusk in 2018 after more than 10 years in politics, government, and law, where he served in senior communications and policy roles, including for two New York State Attorneys General.
Eric has led successful multidisciplinary campaigns on behalf of some of tech’s most recognizable companies including Polymarket, Coinbase, PrizePicks, and Plaid, among many others. His practice has been recognized by The New York Times, Bloomberg, and Politico, where he is regularly quoted on regulatory and political issues facing an array of industries.
Dubbed by CNN as “a political adviser to major crypto companies,” Eric has led successful regulatory efforts on behalf of Fireblocks, Dibbs, Paxos, Apex Crypto, eToro, and Genesis. His work includes complex international engagements spanning Europe and South America, where he and his team create and execute regulatory, earned media, paid media, and user activation strategies to drive change.
Prior to joining Tusk, Eric served as a top strategist behind the campaigns to elect New York’s first African-American Assembly Speaker, first woman Attorney General, and the first bipartisan governing coalition in the New York State Senate. In the Attorney General’s office, Eric directed the media strategy behind the office’s successful cases against Volkswagen, AIG, FanDuel, and the Weinstein Company.
Eric received his BA from the University of Rochester and his JD from American University. He and his family live in New York.
