Kelsey is a Senior Vice President at Tusk Strategies, where she uses her public- and private-sector experience to provide strategic political, regulatory, and communications advising to Tusk’s global clients. She is a part of Tusk’s nationally-recognized Crypto + FinTech Practice, and also advises clients in a range of sectors—including retail, energy, healthcare, food and agriculture, and non-profits and trade associations.

Kelsey brings nearly a decade of policy, advocacy, and international relations experience in Washington, DC to her work at Tusk, having most recently worked in Government and External Affairs and Corporate Citizenship for the BMW Group. In this capacity, she divided her time between representing the company’s policy interests before federal legislators and regulators, and executing the BMW Group’s corporate social responsibility strategy for the U.S. market.

Prior to this, Kelsey held roles in the public sector as a Communications and Multimedia Producer at the U.S. House of Representatives, and in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. State Department. She also has previous experience working in non-profit communications—advocating for peacebuilding and wilderness conservation—and in television production.

Kelsey has a M.A. in European Studies from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Communication Studies and Honors German. She is based out of our New York office.
