Maria is a Senior Associate at Tusk Strategies, where she leverages her extensive experience in political operations, campaign management, and public policy to drive strategic initiatives for the firm’s clients. She brings a wealth of knowledge in government operations and political campaigns, having held key roles in the public sector.

Maria previously served as Director of Operations on the Harris-Walz Transition Team, where she oversaw the day-to-day functions of the department. Before this, she was Senior Associate Director for Staff Secretary to Vice President Kamala Harris, where she provided critical support in the Vice President’s engagements, preparing briefs and staffing her during key meetings including domestic and international events.

Maria also played a pivotal role on the Biden-Harris Campaign as a Voter Protection Associate in Pennsylvania, where she helped support efforts to certify the 2020 election results. Early in her career, Maria worked in the private sector for two years, gaining valuable insight in consumer protection before transitioning to political work.

A graduate of Temple University, Maria holds a BA in Political Science. She is based in Washington, D.C.
